Assessment 3: Industry-led Talent & Culture Campaign
Why this assessment
This assessment is designed to get you researching and considering the approach required to improve the culture in your workplace relating to key issues in hospitality and tourism.
Your Task
You will choose one (1) of the following government initiatives as the basis for your workplace campaign:
• Workplace Bullying • Say no to drugs & alcohol
• Slips and trips.
Considering your target audience you are required to develop the following promotional and training materials that can be used in a new employee orientation.
• A poster – promoting the initiative, providing basic information, a call to action and where the employee can seek further information.
• A fact sheet – providing details about the initiative such as: why is it important, what is the role of the employer, what is the role of the new employee, how it contributes to the company’s success.
• A 3-minute video – stating the overall stance of the organisation e.g. “Zero Tolerance” and the key points a new employee should be aware of.
Other Information about this assessment
• The poster should be A3 in size
• The fact sheet should be A4 and designed as a handout (consider folded designs)
• The video must have your voice included in the audio
• The video can be animated

Presentation and design of poster, fact sheet & video 10%
Appropriate use and inclusions for a Poster 15%
