Tunnel/cavern stability analysis and support design
You will be assigned a set of data comprising.
• Rock mass category (MF1-4) for Melbourne Formation from a Previous site investigation report (Golders report)
• A set of joint orientation data
• Depth and stress data according to from Table 15 Golders site investigation report
• Circular tunnel/cavern diameter
Assignment:
Submit an engineering report comprising the following (a report template is provided).
