In this second part of the Assignment, you are asked to reflect on your experiences from completing the 48 hour assessment task.
You will need to write on the following 4 aspects: Report, Relate, Reason and Reconstruct.
Please use the 4Rs of reflection model of reflective writing to write your assignment. Attached is a detailed guide of the types of questions you need to ask of yourself when completing the reflection.
The format of your assignment should be in short answer/essay style writing. It is preferred you use the headings of Report, Relate, Reason, Reconstruct (or similar) to structure your writing around the 4 R’s.
It is not mandatory to include a reference list, however you are welcome to include references if appropriate. References you include must be formatted using Harvard referencing style.
ASSIGNMENT INSTRUCTIONS
You are to submit a word document with your reflective piece labelled with your student number. For example, if your student number is 12345678, then the file should be named 12345678.docx.
Your assignment must follow the guidelines listed below:
• The assignment may be submitted in Microsoft word or pdf format.
• Length is not to exceed 1000 words (not including the bibliography reference list if you choose to include one).
• All citations used should be referenced and included in a Reference list placed at the end of the assignment document using the Harvard Referencing style (author, date) only.
• Uploading and submission of your assignment file to CloudDeakin will acknowledge your agreement and undertaking that you have not copied, colluded or cheated and that your assignment is all your own work with regards to plagiarism.
Assessment and Final Submission Instructions:
You are required to upload the assignment as one (1) single electronic file (either in Microsoft word or pdf format). It should be submitted through CloudDeakin via the ”Assessments - Assignments - “MIS203 - Assign Part Two (2) - SUBMISSION” link by the deadline of 11:59pm on 9th September 2019.
We will only assess your formally submitted work as uploaded online to CloudDeakin.
It is your responsibility to ensure that that correct assignment file is submitted on time and in exact accordance with the submission requirements -
1) The file is saved in a Microsoft Word or pdf format.
2) The file is not damaged in any way, and that the file can be retrieved and opened in Microsoft Word or Adobe Acrobat.
3) You must check and verify that you submission was successful (do not ask your Lecturer or tutors to do this for you).
4) No hard copy of the assignment is required and will not be accepted.

Use the prompts under each heading to help guide your reflection.
Title of reflection:
1. Report /Respond
Include a brief description of the event, situation or issue.
State your reaction to the situation or issue.

• What did you observe/feel/question about the situation/issue?
2. Relate
Make a connection between the issue/situation and your own personal skills, experience and understanding.
Relate this to any relevant theoretical understandings.
• Have you experienced this before?
• What sense can you make of the situation based on what you already understand?
• How does this situation relate to the theories in your course?

3. Reason
Find an explanation for the situation/issue. Discover any relationship between theory and practice in order to seek a deep understanding of why something has happened.
• What significant factors impacted the situation/issue?
• How do these relate to what you have previously experienced?
• What evidence can you find in relevant theories to support your understanding of the events?
• What impact do other perspectives have on the issue?
4. Reconstruct
Draw a conclusion and discuss improvements that could be made. Identify any changes or improvements for future planning. Apply your learning to other contexts and your future professional practice.
• Why did this situation/issue occur?
• What theories support your rationale?
• How would you deal with the situation next time?
• What strategies would you develop for future practice based on what you now know?
