In this individual assessment you are required to create social media images, and/or videos for your proposed company/organisation.
The visual content that you create should be engaging and relevant to the target audience of your company/organisation to build and maintain ‘brand personality’, maximising the use of your chosen social media platforms.
As well as creating social media content in this assessment, you are to plan the images/videos application and layout within your chosen Social Media Platforms.
Nb. You will submit and present your final content (images and/or video) within in Assessment 4.
Task Description
You must use the organisation/company you identified within your Assessment 1 submission.
Students are required to prepare a report that includes:
- Social media content – SIX (6) images and/or videos that you have created specifically for the social media platform of your company/organisation.
- Report on each of the SIX (6) images and/or videos that contains:
• Identification and justification of techniques and design fundamentals applied to content.
• Conceptual implementation – Identification of your concept and ideas behind the content that you have created and a brief overview of how they were implemented.
- Plan for Social Media application – Consider any adjustments, editing, cropping etc that you may need to implement in preparation for social media rollout.
- Reflection – How well did you follow your Social Media plan you set in Assessment 2. Where there were challenges/changes/adjustments, if so, list them, as well as your process of overcoming any challenges. If you were to create any future similar content what are some adjustments that you would make to your process and production.
Requirements
- Your report should have a clearly identifiable structure including: ICMS cover page, table of contents, Introduction to your report, Report findings as per the brief and a Reference list.
- Your report must be presented as a Microsoft word doc, or PDF.
- Marks will be deducted for poor spelling and grammar.
- Use at least FIVE (5) pieces of academic evidence. Academic evidences are defined as peer reviewed journal articles, governmental publications, and academic textbooks.
- You must reference your report in accordance with the ICMS Style Guide (APA 7th Edition).
- The report submitted must be your own work and the lecturer reserves the right to carry out a viva voce on the essay to ensure that the essay is the students own work.
- The Turnitin submission by 11.55pm on the date specified.
