You are required to research one (1) community services program of interest, such as: aged community services, migrant & multicultural services, or youth services.
Based on your research, you must develop a service program and deliver a 15-minute oral presentation on it with the use of audio-visual resources (e.g. Power Point presentation). This will be a roleplay simulation in a Zoom meeting, with other students from diverse backgrounds roleplaying the role of service users and the assessor as a colleague.
The presentation must include the following:
• Consumer engagement:
• How consumers are engaged in analysing service needs
• Supports needed for effective consumer participation at all levels of program planning
• Requirements and needs of specific and diverse service user groups and individuals
• Program planning and development:
• Program design and resourcing
• Accountability and governance
• Funding framework, including not-for-profit, government funding

• Program implementation and monitoring:
• Implementation systems and procedures
• Identifying the key staff involved and their responsibilities
• Risk, regulatory and sustainability considerations
• standards, codes and legislation compliance
• Program monitoring and evaluation:
• Feedback and complaints procedures
• Evaluation and continuous improvement processes
At the end of your presentation, you must collect at least three (3) feedback forms from your audience. The feedback form will include comments or questions regarding the information you have provided about the service program. Once you have received your feedback forms, you will need to compile and analyse them, and then revise your Power Point presentation accordingly to reflect the appropriate changes suggested by your audience. Refer to p. 7 for the Feedback Form template.
Assessment conditions:
