: Guidelines for Preparation of Executive Report
All students are required to undertake a field study and submit a report as partial
requirements for the Human Resource Management course.

Objectives of the Study
The objective of this group assignment is twofold.
a).
The students are expected to examine a particular HR Management Issue /
Area / Situation from a theoretical stand point.
b).
The fundamentals and principles of subject areas discussed in the class
room are to be placed in the context ofa real- life organizational setting.
2.
Scope of the Study
The lesions you learnt in the PGDBM programme will form the basis of your study.

Content of the Study
a) Select an organization of your choice.
b) Examine and study the organization and its HRM Practices, as they are in-terms of
the lessons you learnt in the classroom and through your readings. You may note that
following areas as a guide to your analysis of the organization selected for study.

Vision, Mission, goals, and objectives of the organization.
Processes of the Organization
Organization's product /service profiles
Manpower strength
Structure of the organization
