. Assessment Description.
During tutorials between Weeks 4 and 11, you will be required to present a case study of your choice of organisation and upload to the portal. Your report will be included in the notes section of PPT as a narrative.
The case study presentations will require the individual presenting students to lead class discussions on the your chosen organisation and answer the required questions.
Students will need to discuss their chosen organisation with their lecturer to ensure there is no duplication.
These questions will guide and stimulate the class discussion. The in class discussion will support your overall mark for the presentation . Engaging the audience will be critical in attaining good marks. This is a third year capstone subject so requires an advanced level of analysis. You are required to support your presentation and analysis of the case with further research to show a thorough analysis and your understanding of the relevant issues in the case.
Assessment Details
Learning outcomes to demonstrate are LO1 & 2 as per the subject outline.
• Choose and analyse an organisation and their international approach to marketing and answer the related marketing areas suggested below.
• Prepare a 10 minutes briefing presentation and plan for a 10-minute discussion. • Your presentation should be supported with slides and or materials • An appropriate number of slides would be 10-15.
• Minimum of 5 credible references are required. Lecture power point slides, lecture material or wiki references are not considered credible references.
The Presentation should include the following answers:
1. Offer a very brief overview of your firm and product, include current marketing situation and all its processes and product life cycle in your brief
2. Offer SWOT analysis to map strengths, take advantage of opportunities or counter threats of your chosen organization and the product it markets
3. Offer analysis of your customer market include position and current segmentation
4. Using the analysis of numbers 1,2 and 3 recommend a suitable country that this organisation can launch with its current products
5. Recommendations should include reasons why this chosen country would be suitable in terms of the 4 Ps (Product, Price, Place and Promotion). Be creative! Show logic and flow in your decisions.

Assignment Submission and Conditions
a. A Turnitin submission is required and all students allocated to present for the particular week must be present to received marks. There will be a slot for submission for Weeks 4 to 11 and the due dates fall on the Monday, by 3.55pm after the presentation Week.
b. No shows will receive a zero mark for presentation part of the assessment.
c. Case Study presentations will only be re-scheduled under extreme circumstances & special consideration cases must be advised prior to the day of the presentation, otherwise a zero mark will be recorded.
