Part 1 of 2 – Case study (35 marks)
Correct referencing
You are required to use

You will find information about Harvard referencing style on the USQ website, and, should you require further details, there are various other sources on the internet that provide details on the Harvard referencing style.
EndNote – now compulsory
The library also makes EndNote available to students and for this assignment you are now required to use EndNote for all you in-text citation and list of reference.

Report Format
You are required to use report format as per USQ web site. The number of words of your report should be between 2,000 and 3,000 words for the body.
As a third year student, your aim is to be succinct and clear in your writing, which means less rather than more words.

You are required to use chapter 5-9 inclusive from your Motiwalla & Thompson textbook, and at least 3 academically sound external sources to address and discuss the following in your report:

Part 2 of 2 – SAP (15 marks)
For this part of the assignment you are required to complete the SAP Practical exercise for the Materials Management (MM) Case study, which you find in the same folder as this assignment specification.
Using a separate word document, you are required to keep a journal as you work through this exercise.
• Complete the SAP Materials Management exercise as directed in tutorials 7-9 and record the outputs in a word document.
• Continue to keep a journal of your activities and experience of using SAP, making sure that your comments are professional.
• Include the copy of your full journal as an appendix to the reflective essay.
Reflective essay:
• Write an essay between 800-1200 words reflecting your end user experiences of the SAP software.
o Identify 3 appropriate end user criteria with which to evaluate the SAP software.
o The 3 criteria should be based on the course readings, textbook, and your 3 academically sound external sources.
o Your essay should be based on your journals but also draw upon the theoretical knowledge that you have gained during the semester.
In the allocation of marks, your inputs in the SAP GBI database (as shown in a SAP report of your activity by User ID), your submitted journal and SAP exercise outputs will be taken into account.
Please note, no marks will be given for this section if the SAP report generated does not produce a record of any activity by your GBI user ID.
