FORMAT FOR THE ASSIGNMENT
Please note I have created a template for Assignment 2 and placed it on the StudyDesk with
other assessment relevant materials. You will incur a penalty if you do not format your
assignment as indicated by the template. Please use the template to ensure you do not lose
marks unnecessarily.
The template includes the marking criteria sheet, a cover sheet, space for the three parts of this
assignment, a List of References as well as other essential information about the presentation
expectations for your assignment.
One of the reasons I made the template was so that we would not have to waste time discussing
presentation issues. If you do have a question about the presentation of your assignment please
refer to the template before you ask. The answer will probably be provided by the template.

EXEMPLAR ASSIGNMENT 2 OF A DISTINCTION STANDARD - USING
PERSONALITY THEORY
Part 1 - The incident (length 543 words)
This case study incident focuses on my reactions to my computer rebooting itself and deleting
all my files after half of my assignment had been completed approximately 1 week before the
due date.
It was the day after I had completed the first part of my assignment and I felt like I had achieved
some sort of progress so I decided to take a break from study because the assignment readings
and writing part 1 had taken their toll on me and my head started to ache. Doing my first
assignment in eight years had me stressed and thinking that maybe I should not be at university.
I went back to the computer to continue my assignment only to find that my computer had
turned itself off. “This is just a minor setback” I assured myself and continued to power up my
laptop.
When the laptop had finished booting it was stuck on a blue screen with a window prompting
