Assessment task details and instructions
You should:
TASK (Total Marks available = 100)
Read the AeroTech Inc. case provided in the Assessment area.
Put yourself in the role of Cassandra and develop a 3,000 word structured and referenced report, which conforms to the university’s APA 7th edition on referencing guidelines: https://www.salford.ac.uk/skills/referencing/apa7th-edition
Write a report which addresses the 4 points set out below, and incorporates academic theories and ideas.
1.Outline Aerotech’s organizational design, i.e. their structural and cultural type (20 marks)
2. Critique the approach that Patrick has taken to re-designing the organization, explaining why you think there are currently issues/problems and what these are (30 marks)
3. Outline any additional data/insights that it might be helpful to have, in order to have a more rounded understanding of the situation (20 marks)
4. Considering alternative change methodologies, make recommendations as to how Aerotech Inc. proceeds from here, including (a) what changes may improve the situation (15 marks) and (b) how these changes might best be implemented amongst this type of workforce (15 marks)

Total word count is 3,000 words, excluding the reference list at the end, and any appendix you may have for supplementary information.
Your assessment should be submitted in a Word document, using an 11 or 12 point font (Arial, Calibri, Tahoma, Times new Roman) and 1.5 line spacing. Speak to RKC tutor for further guidance.
Feedback arrangements
You can expect to receive your provisional mark and feedback 15 working days after submission.

In Year Retrieval Scheme
Your assessment is not eligible for in year retrieval.
Reassessment
If you fail your assessment, and are eligible for reassessment, you will be contacted by the PG Administrator with details, after you have received your interim results letter. For students with accepted personal mitigating circumstances for absence/non submission, this will be your replacement assessment attempt.
The reassessment task will be the same as the original task.
