Analysis of the popular source of information and primary peer-reviewed journal article:

Introduce the popular source (newspaper, magazine, television, radio, social media post, blog, website, etc.) and journal article by their author/s or publisher and year of publication
The author/creator/director/publisher (if no author identified) of the popular source is …..... and the year of publication is…....
The primary journal article I have chosen is written by ......(surnames of authors; check APA7th citation format) and published in ....(year)
Use the TRAAP test to comparatively analyse both sources (a TRAAP test guide is available in the Week 3 tab in Blackboard).
Include some details or specific examples from the sources to support your analysis.
Use the APA 7th author-year format to cite the two sources. For sources with one or two authors, state their surnames. For sources with three or more authors, state the first author’s surname followed by et al. For example:
[One author] Smith (2019)
[Two authors] Smith and Henare (2019)
[Three or more authors] Smith et al. (2019)
After you have cited your sources using the author-year format at least once, you may then use terms like “the popular source” or “the journal article”, as long as it is clear which of the two sources you are referring to.
The analysis in your presentation can be made more interesting and concise by using comparative language. For example, when both your sources have similarities, you can use:

Similarly/Likewise....
For differences between your sources, you can use:
Both sources differ in ....
In contrast ....
