Your Task
The purpose of this individual international study analysis is to interpret the impact of the trade investment environment, the political and cultural issues that affect international business for destination countries. It also aims to identify possible strategies that firms can adopt when considering engaging with international markets.
Assessment Description
To complete this assessment you will need to use the firm you selected in the Assessment. 1. This report is a summary of the strategy that you propose the firm adopts in the country that you selected in the first assessment 1. The strategy needs to be developed so that it gives the firm and its product the greatest chance of success in the international destination that you chose. The strategy requires that you conduct details research into the country that you have selected and summarising each factor using a heading and then develop a risk table using the sample provided in this assessment to rank the risks facing your business in the destination country.
The factors that you will need to research and summarise are:
1. Recent news about the country you selected regarding trade and investment friendliness, international relations between countries and emerging factors affecting market conditions
2. Local (host country) PESTEL factors
3. The top 3 risks that you believe your firm may face in that country based on your analysis.
4. Recommend one of the following strategies as a possible entry point for the firm:
a. Enter the country directly (using the firm’s own operations by starting a branch in that country), or
b. Partner with a firm in the destination country to enter that market
