Context:
The aim of this assessment is to assess the student’s ability to create spreadsheets that can aid business problem solving. Weekly online practical work will help students to complete this assessment.
The spreadsheet is a powerful tool that has become entrenched in business processes worldwide. A working knowledge of Excel is vital for most office based professionals today.
Instructions:
Students will be required to construct a spreadsheet using the case study provided by your lecturer. Excel functionalities such as absolute and relative cell references, formatting, chart, pivot tables and formulae will be used.
List of requirements:
1. Students are required to document the spreadsheet that informs the user how it is constructed and why. (Submit using Word document)
2. In creating pivot tables, each student will be given different set of data and will have a slightly different set of questions.
3. Students need to submit their Excel Spreadsheet and Word document.
