1. Define compassion stress or fatigue and identify risk factors for acquiring the disorder
2. Summarise the clinical manifestation of compassion fatigue (CF)
3. Identify three causes of CF
4. Outline contemporary interventions to prevent and/or manage CF
5. Provide three support networks available to a nurse who is experiencing CF, or caring for a person with CF, or working with a person with CF
6. Differentiate between CF and burnout

• Names three support networks available to a nurse who is experiencing PTSD
Part B:
• Provides a contemporary definition of compassion fatigue (CF)
• Names a minimum of three signs and/or symptoms of CF
• Identifies three causes of CF
• Provides a minimum of three support networks available to a nurse experiencing CF
• Differentiates the difference between CF and burnout
