Context:
Businesses in the modern marketplace cannot afford to ignore the environments in which they operate. To navigate this vast and everchanging landscape, businesses must keep a keen eye on external factors which influence it. Policy changes, changes in government regulation and changes in national and global macroeconomic indicators, changes in microeconomics factors, social factors, comply with social changes and social responsibility all can impact on a businesses success.The environmental scan report is an effort to identify these factors and propose solutions to the risks they pose.
Objectives:
• To more broadly understand the environmental factors which influence business;
• Assess and address the challenges and risks which businesses face due to external factors specifically political, government regulation, economic (macro and micro) and social factors ;
• Identify and present appropriate solutions to offset these risks;
• Propose strategies to prevent further risk

Part A of this assessment focuses on the setting a senerio of environmental scan for the business along with analysing factors such as external political and macroeconomic factors affecting on the organisation.
Part B serves to expand on Part A through identifying challenges business facing not only through political and macroeconomic factors but alos by adding changes in microeconomics factors, social factors, comply with social changes and social responsibility and developing strategies not only to counter the risks faced by the business as identified in Part A, but also to prevent future environmental challenges, as well as anticipate and deal with environmental shifts.
Instructions:
Part B of the environmental scan is aimed at expanding the Part A report by including additional factos and critically analysing data and information of the chosen business and proposing solutions to the environmental challenges faced by businesses. Using the tools and learning frameworks provided in the content, you must:

• Critically analyse business performance of the chosen business by researching data/information and link how some changes in the business structure, profitability, success/failure can potentially be a result from the affect of the the factors mentioned above (Policy changes, changes in government regulation and changes in national and global macroeconomic indicators, changes in microeconomics factors, social factors, comply with social changes and social responsibility)
• Identify and analyse environmental factors (mentioned above ) which influence chosen Australian businesses specifically
• Categorically and comprehensively respond with a solution to all of the environmental risks and challenges laid out in Part A
