Your in-service training schedule needs to reflect 12 different topics that relate to coding and reimbursement. You will select one of your 12 monthly topics and actually create the PowerPoint presentation and provide the training to your coding staff on that in-service topic.
The project will be delivered in different weeks with the final in-service schedule and PowerPoint due in Week 7.

A content outline for your in-service schedule and PowerPoint is due by the end of Week 4, indicating how you plan to address project expectations and the primary sources of information you have identified. Your instructor will provide feedback on both your topic selection and project outline.
An MS-DRG paper that compares the DRG system to the MS-DRG system that you will use to educate your coding staff on the differences and why the changes were made is due in Week 5. The paper should be 2–3 pages in length.
The final in-service schedule and PowerPoint with speaker narrations are due by the end of Week 7. The in-service schedule should include the meeting topic, date, duration of meeting, and location. The PowerPoint should be a minimum of 10 slides with graphics, images, and speaker narrations, as well as a reference slide.
