I have a fyp with topic : sound triangulation for invisible keyboards..
Abstract :
Human interface devices have evolved rapidly in the last decade with a common goal of compactness for integration
into portable devices. Keyboard is one component of interest to be considered in this evolution. Here the project will
apply the concept of sound triangulation to implementation of an invisible keyboard. Three microphones will be
positioned around a working space for detecting particular sound patterns. Based on the sound triangulation
principle, the location of a finger strike can be precisely determined from different delay times of the sound it
generates. This position can be translated into an associated key on a conventional keyboard. The students will be
able to gain knowledge in microcontrollers, programming languages of their interest, and digital signal processing.
The doctor asked me to give some prototypes for the project and I need to do a proposal seminar.. Can you help me in that?
