Indicative characteristic/s
Contextualisation
M1 Identify and apply strategies to find appropriate solutions Effective judgements have been made.
An effective approach to study and research has been applied. To achieve M1, you will make effective judgements about P finding real problem and study this problem and determine the approach that should be applied to study and solve this problem(used to inform the presentation).
M2 Select / design and apply appropriate methods / techniques Appropriate learning methods/techniques have been applied. To achieve M2, you will have used suitable techniques to explore the questionnaire for a given business problem and use this questionnaire to collect the real data and summarizing this data by tables or graphs (used to inform the presentation).
D1 Use critical reflection to evaluate own work and justify valid conclusions Realistic improvements have been proposed against defined characteristics for success. To achieve D1 you need to use deferent types of analysis not only central location, variation or correlation coefficient. You have to this result to make a decision for a given business problem (used to inform the presentation).

Assignment title Collection and presentation data for a given business problem(with descriptive analysis)(1 of 2)
Purpose of this assignment

It also aims to give an idea of the frames of samples and methods of tabulation data and displayed to begin the process of analysis. The objective of this task required the student to find the problem and develop an appropriate questionnaire and ask the right questions. The Student should use the appropriate statistical analyzes to get the result and decision-making.
Scenario
The scenario is different between the student and another student, but we can summarize the scenario for this assignment by the following points:
1-Be able to use a variety of sources for the collection of data, both primary and secondary
Primary sources: survey methodology; questionnaire design; sample frame; sampling Methods.
Secondary sources: internet research; government and other published data; by-product data Storage: security of information; data protection issues; ethical issues
2 -Understand a range of techniques to analyse data effectively for business purposes
Representative values: mean, median, mode; calculation from raw data and frequency distributions using appropriate software; using the results to draw valid conclusions Measures of dispersion: standard deviation for small and large samples; typical uses (statistical process eg control, buffer stock levels) Calculation: use of quartiles, percentiles, correlation coefficient
Task 1 (L.O.1: 1.1,1.2,1.3 and M1, M2)
How can you create a plan for the collection of primary and secondary data for a given business problem (M1).
What is the difference between the comprehensive survey and sampling, and what frames of samples used.
What is the kind of questions should be in the questionnaire for a given business problem(M2)
To achieve M1, you will make effective judgements about P finding real problem and study this problem and determine the approach that should be applied to study and solve this problem (used to inform the presentation).
To achieve M2, you will have used suitable techniques to explore the questionnaire for a given business problem and use this questionnaire to collect the real data and summarizing this data by tables or graphs (used to inform the presentation).
Task 2 (L.O.2: 2.1,2.4 and D1)
How can you create information for decision making by summarizing data using representative values.
Explain how quartiles, percentiles and the correlation coefficient are used to draw useful conclusions in a business context with example (D1).
To achieve D1 you need to use deferent types of analysis not only central location, variation or correlation coefficient. You have to this result to make a decision for a given business problem (used to inform the presentation).
Task 3 (L.O.3: 3.1)
How can you produce graphs using spreadsheets and draw valid conclusions based on the information derived.
