The aim of this assignment is to give learners an understanding of individual and group behaviour in organisations and to examine current theories and their application in managing behaviour in the Workplace.

Understand the relationship between organisational structure and culture
You are required to choose an organisation (preferably one that you are familiar with) for this task and give reference to the organisation in different sections, to demonstrate your knowledge, understanding and application of the concept “organizational structure and culture”.
At grassroots businesses are faced with the problem of providing a suitable structure and culture for the organization. Answer the question below (1.1-1.3) using real organization examples in each;

You are required to select a business from the retail sector (operating in the UK) and analyse how organisational theory supports the principles of organising. Also compare different approaches to management showing evidence of two real business organisations. You are required to generate a report on the following learning outcome and topics:

Understand ways of using motivational theories in organisations
This task is aimed at one of the most important concept of using motivational theories in organisation. You are required to produce a report by looking at the impact of leadership styles on motivation, explore the application of Maslow’s motivational theory and finally, evaluate the usefulness of the theories.
A good start for this task will be to select an organisation from the list given below: • Tesco

and identify how the concept of motivation can be practically applied in the daily operations of the chosen orgsanisation. Late Submission and Resubmission

Please note that assignments can be re-submitted only once.
